About Me

My name is Amanda Morrison.

I’m a UI/UX designer with over 3 years of experience focusing on native mobile and responsive web applications, mainly for government agencies. I prioritize digital accessibility and always ensure that my designs meet Section 508 standards. My background in 3D design and animation helps me create interactive and engaging user experiences.

As a government contractor, I’m skilled at turning complex project requirements into accessible, user-friendly solutions. For me, accessibility isn’t just about legal requirements—it’s about making digital products usable for everyone. This passion drives my design process, using user-centered best practices to create inclusive results.

I work well with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring our efforts align with strategic goals. I aim to deliver pixel-perfect designs that meet users’ needs and enhance their interactions with intuitive interfaces. My goal is to positively impact people’s lives with designs that are both aesthetically-pleasing and functional, promoting efficient engagement across all digital platforms.

I like to spend my free time running, playing hockey, and trying to learn to play the piano 🏃‍♀️🏒🎹
